Universal Search Library supports extensions for Google Chrome, Chrome Canary, Microsoft Edge, and Chromium browsers. The library can also work for extensions meant for Chrome browsers, but distributed as an archive and not via the store.
Extensions for Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Yandex Browser are not supported.
Please note that Universal Search Library is compatible with Manifest V2 and manifest V3 extensions for now. This documentation describes how to implement Universal Search Library to different versions of the manifest extensions.
